Biography
Maggie TerryViale loves attending SCSFe, which, in her sage words, "is simply the best!" Her feature length scripts have won awards in such contests as Fade In, The Maui Screenwrying Conference, and the Austin Film Festival as well as having co-written award-winning short films. Aside from SCSFe, she has studied screenwriting at UCLA Extension Masters in Screenwriting program.

As a producer/owner for Hope Productions, Maggie has had several scripts optioned in Hollywood. In addition she is an artist with an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, a Reverend who assists personal growth through energy healings, and an author. Seminar   THE HAPPY SCREENWRITER: What to take home from Santa Fe!
Seminar Description: In this delightful Sunday morning seminar with author, screenwriter, and artist, Maggie TerryViale (an SCSFe Founding Member who has never missed a Conference), you'll explore the question, What does it mean to be happy with your life and what you're doing with it? Is happiness something that just comes to some of us, but not all of us? Does it just happen out of the blue? Or can we actually take control of our emotions?

And, more specifically, what about happiness in our screenwriting endeavors? Can you enjoy the process even if the results don't come as quickly as you want? This seminar is designed to assist you with lasting motivational hints and insights long after the glow of SCSFe might fade.

With Maggie's guidance you will learn some of the basic foundations of what brings a screenwriter joy, and how to stay in that productive mode that makes your fingers fly across the keys. Maggie will also provide "Stepping Stones" worksheets from her book, Happiness Awaits You. The worksheets are designed to empower you to hold to your creative dreams as you work toward your screenwriting goals.
